- At Santiago Golf Resort, Macro plot 11 of Santiago Golf Resort was purchased by the Lusofonia Group to develop the Lusofonia Meliá Resort Hotels. In order to fulfill the necessary requirements for this new development, the plot plan of SGR had to be refreshed as can be seen in the attached map. No changes were made to the plot’s of Quinta da Achada.

Once approved by the Cape Verdean government, the Meliá Lusofonia Cabo Verde Eco-resort will be located in an area of 26 hectares inserted in the broader property of the Santiago Golf Resort.
The Lusofonia Meliá Resort Hotels will be located in the Ponta Jandangue area of Santiago golf resort and will include four and five stars all-inclusive hotels: the Meliá Lusofonia Resort & SPA (430 rooms), the Meliá Lusofonia (150 rooms) and the Meliá Lusofonia Residences (160 rooms). The resort will provide a multiple offer of bars, restaurants, beach clubs and complementary services such as swimming pools and spa.
